I have found three ways that to help me to maybe not keep my shop clean, but to extend periods between major cleanings. The first was putting my tools into a rolling tool chest so that replacing them during the job is slightly more likely. Second is strategically placed trash containers. One near the center of the main shop area and one near the work bench in the inner heated room. These enable me of course to eliminate trash as I go. or at least get it within just a few square feet area around the containers. Third is junk metal containers in two strategic locations so that as with regular trash I can toss it as I go.
