I generaly TRY to keep my shop in at least walking around capable condition. Right now I'm building a carrier that will go on the 3 pt and carry 2 kids in bucket seats in the July 4th parade. Been promising them that I would one day. Now is the time. My wife came out to see the progress and feed a cat that has adopted us. She had to squeeze between a tractor tire and an open drawer with a bucket seat on it. Started to gripe about the conditions. I told her My shop, My space, go away. I don't see anything on the counter for dinner yet.
