Pawnhoss is the Pa. Dutch name for Scrapple. You can make this at home and there is no junk meat in it. 2 lb. cooked ground pork - one lb corn meal - one cup water - salt, pepper, rubed sage. Cook corn meal in warer until it forms a nice mush [you can fry this and it makes a good breakfast] Mix in the cooked ground pork. [left over pork roast] add spices and mix well. Place in a form and put in the frig over night. Slice and fry in thr morning. This is one of the "potted meat " things you can make at home. Luck Ed
