Sounds like I did the right thing scaling down to stuff you bale with a rubber band. When I was farming big-er, I was very careful getting every blade of grass with that old ground drive- or the 100 year old dump rake. Big shots laughed at me of course. They would all let the local amish in the fields right after they were done, figuring who cares, they were bigdeals in a big hurry, raking and baling in 3rd hi,etc etc. so an Amish kid would show up with a team and a side delivery worst than mine, and say, a field 20 swaths wide, the kid would salvage 4-5 windrows the length of it. Get the rest of the kids with the wagon and loader, looked like children playing huh? Daddy would have the last laugh figuring he got 20% of the field just scrounging big shots drops. free. I know you aren't Amish.... but you got a rake right????
