The answer is the same today as it was on the Ford forum the other day... Check for hot fire at the coil WHEN IT QUITS. A bad coil will often work OK when it's cold but once it heats up from it's internal resistance... after 15 minutes... then it will no longer fire.
The other primary option is a vacuum in the tank due to a bad gas cap... but again, if you have removed the drain immediately when it quits... you should not be getting much flow from the bowl drain at that time.
The fact that your tractor runs at all is likely sufficient proof that the carb itself is OK. Time to look elsewhere for the problem. A low float could be part of the problem but generally the old Marvel's are not overly fussy about that.
