The old saying goes "If you need help, ask a busy person". A 'type A' personality will always be busy. When it comes to stress, it depends what you're retiring from. Some people don't operate well unless they're under stress. That's NOT me, for sure.
Marilyn retired from her job at 58 because the stress was affecting her health. Now she's at home tending garden, taking care of the chickens, the house, picking up rocks, weeding flowers, being grandma, doing more physical work then she's done for years. She has the old twinkle back in her eyes and her blood pressure is down to normal again. For awhile people were asking her what she did because she looks so much better now. Jim
