Funny you mention that cup. As a boy almost 50 years ago I drank from a cup at my Grandpa's well. My uncle made that cup in the early 1950's from a can and a piece of wire. Due in part to my parents divorce It was about 30 years later before I saw the old Home place again. I was glad to be welcome there once again and it brought back a lot of memories. I have to say though tears welled up in my eyes when I saw that cup still hanging by that faucet.My cousin said noone drinks from it anymore but they let it hang there in memory of my always practical Uncle. I said I'm darn sure gonna drink from it unless you stop me. Funny how a tin cup made from a soup can so affected me.
