Once upon a time I was a shop foreman at a nursery where we grew, dug and sold trees. We had 2 D4 Cats set up this way. The roller is set a little ahead of the U-blade to push the tree over before the blade undercuts it, there is a chute under the machine to guide the tree underneath with out tearing it up. It leaves the trees in a windrow where they are wrapped or sold as bare root trees. Trees could be as tall as 16 feet. Bob
