You should install 00 cables with soldered lugs. When the engine quits running you need to check for fire to your plugs. You need to do this asap before anything cools. If there's no fire your condenser or coil could be defective.
If there's good hot fire to your plugs you probably have a fuel problem. Check the fuel flow from your tank to the carburetor by disconnecting the gas line at the carb and see if there's a full stream of gas to the carb. Catch the gas in a clean container. If this looks ok remove the fitting from the carb where the gas line connects and look for a screen that may be plugged. If the screen is clean you probably need to remove the carb and soak it in carburetor cleaner and blow out the jets with air. Hal
