I purchased a MF 135 diesel. it has already been coverted from a generator to 12 volt one wire alternator. The charging system is not working, I would like to start from scratch on the wiring/alternator. I hope someone can tell me what would be the best alternator for the job. Will a one wire alternator work in this application or another type better? I want to do this right the first time no I wish I had a's later.
