Definitely can increase your horsepower but don't look for any increase in mileage other than the fact you have more power without loosing mileage. I have a 2002 Dodge Cummins with Edge Juice Attitude chip in mine. Like it for towing through town where you have stop and go driving. Out on the road, stock mode will get me anywhere I want to go but for that extra shot when passing, it is nice. No difference in mileage regardless which level I run.
