I'm in the same boat here in mid Michigan that you're in. Things dried up and I got oats in 2 weeks ago,I plowed the sod that's going to corn,chiseled some second year corn ground,then we got 2 1/2 inches of rain from last Wednesday night through Sunday. Just a tenth over night,but we could get more anytime,so I have no corn in. I just went out and checked some of the plowed ground and I've got big troubles in some of the low spots. The plow sole is holding water and it's standing in the dead furrows and you sink half way to your knees up on the furrow.
