With the trailer attached and loaded w/tractor, the truck is legal for a total weight of 10,500 on its wheels. If you load your tractor so there is appropriate tongue weight, you will probably never hit the max on the truck. I have known guys to pull 30,000 lb loaded trailers with a dually Dodge, Cummins, stick shift. But I'd bet good money that is not legal. The Dodge trucks similar to yours are often used for pulling big 5th wheel RV trailers weighing up to 18,000 lbs. Probably your GCVW is about 26,000 lbs, as many 1 ton duallys are rated for something in that neighborhood.
