Ford made several variations of the 4000. 4100 is the standard ag model. 4200 is row crop. 4110 was an LCG (low center of gravity) 4400 was an industrial - soft nose, solid front axle. 4500 is hard nose, solid front axle, usually with the wet kit in the nose - think TLB. 4410 is kinda rare - soft nose, arched front axle - called a Woods Tractor. Lots of variations in trannys, PTO/non pto, 3 point/no 3 point, etc between the models. There are 3 lines of code stamped into the flat spot on the tranny - just aft and above the starter. Also on a metallic tag under the hood if it hasn't been destroyed. Post them here or on the Ford board and the good folks there will tell you exactly what you have. Tractor #, Model #, Unit #
