If you have "old gas" disease, somebody on here had an easy and guaranteed method to get it going. Drain Fuel by taking off fuel line at bottom of tank. Drain carburetor, if you can (drain plug). If no drain plug, go ahead with the rest of the steps- it'll probably work anyway. Spray aerosol can carburetor cleaner into the fuel line (toward the carburetor) and into the air intake of the carb. Hook the fuel line back up, then spray enough carb cleaner into the bottom of the empty fuel tank to where there is a little puddle of it. Put a very small amount of gas in the tank. Start it up.
He said it would start on the first pull. I've used the method twice, and it indeed did start on first pull both times.
