Propane is substantially cheaper, but doesnt
cut as hot as acetylene. If you want the major new trick setup,
you want petrox, which uses pump
gasoline, and cuts like a warm
knife through butter. Downside is the initial 1k investment. Or step into the year 2k and get a plasma
cutter. I dont even use my torch anylonger,
except for interrupted cutting.
Cleaner cuts, more precision, etc. Dunno about natural gas...
