The SA 200 is still made today under the new name Pipeliner 200. It is supposed to be the very best DC arc you can get from a field welder. Parts are readily available and parts lists can be found online at the Lincoln website. SA 200's are very simple basic welders with almost no options yet they still dominate in the opinions of pipeline welders who are well known in the welding business as being the very best stick welders. They used to sell for a dollar a pound. Today they are about $8000. A machine with no options and only DC output selling for that amount of money still having some kind of sustainable market should tell you something. In the Boston area, with all the industry surplus, $700-1200 for an average SA is what we see. If the machine is in good working order, it will absolutely improve your welding over most other welders.
