I didn't reply to your post last week because My wisconsin manuals are for 1 and 4 cyl engines, The mag timing instructions are the same for 1 and 4 cyl so with luck it may work on your 2 cyl. The flywheel should have an X cast into the end of one of the fan vanes which you line up with a mark on the top center of the flywheel air shroud. You must remove the flywheel air screen to see these marks. The X mark on the mag gear should be in the center of the inspection hole in the crankcase. Hope this works, good luck.
