Lee,I still run in to Gene somewhere most every year and we talk over the old days of pulling.I saw him at the Ft Scott,KS steam show this year.Thats a tough 28-44 Oliver that he pulls. He must have built the 55 MH-Allison puller in the mid to late 70's.I think he went thru about (10) 55 MH rear ends pulling the 7-9 Mod class.
