Leader was one of the many companies that entered the tractor business shortly after WW2. They were in essence built off the shelf with readily available components, though they were better than most. As a 1-2 plow tractor and weighing about 2500#, they were ideal for truck farms. I have owned 2 and there are still a number of them here in Virginia.
