Just for fun I looked in the manual and it is close to what you
say. However, it mentions 20 second intervals, that is, hold for
20 try starting, and repeat that. The idea being 3 or 4 20
intervals instead of one 60 second interval. I would think the
idea of holding the starter and pre-heater at the same time, as
mentioned above, would put quite a load on the battery.
