I believe that the tractors had to be special ordered to get the hi-speed transmission put in them. I do know of a local guy that did in fact special order a 1550 RC gas tractor with the hi-speed transmission to move equipment between farms. He never used it in 6th hi because it was to fast for him to control it with something behind it, So he just used 5th gear.

Me as long as they are black and round hold air and aint cracked to pieces there all good! Back in the day you could buy one with all the options or a striped down model it was up to you.
The utility tractors were a little different from the rest. Years ago if you had the money you could get it any way you wanted it. Bandit
