52 almost 53 (gotta grow up one day) City boy from Iowa who used to spend summers working on his uncle's farm (first tractor to drive was a 9N). Education is electrical engineer (long since obsolete). Worked for John Deere in the 70's, bounced around and ended up in Michigan as director of non instructional operations for a Detroit suburban school district. Married, last kid going to college (two down last one to go) and live on 6 acres outside of Detroit area. A tinkerer by profession and nature. Will tear into anything. Have a lot of old stuff including a 40 9N, but a new lawn tractor (gotta have one new toy). Been here since almost the beginning. JU
