I stumbled across this wonderful board while making up my mind to buy a tractor for use on my crowded 5 acres NW of Ft. Worth, Tx. I was born in Chicago, raided and educated in Kansas and retired in Texas. I am 5'9", 170lbs and now 62yoa(going on 92). I was the technical arm of the markweting team for a fair sized computer manufacturing company (ibm) for 27 years, retired for a year, then decided to work a bit more, 4 years as locasl area network manager for a Kroger location. I have been building a geodesic dome home since 1998 and just retired again in 2000. Currently my inventory consists of a 462N w/1940 9N engine, 1949 8N, w/1941 9N engine and a locked up 51 8N, which is in process of disassembly for evaluation. Just two batchelors, me and my "fixed" cat, as well as my brothers' 1947 Pontiac, 1964 El Camino and a multitude of VWs.
