that was in the 1998-1999 time range, which means it has long been overwritten. Of course, many of the current readers/posters had not found this site then. I mostly remember because for a while it seemed like I was going to be the oldest respondent. Glad to see Dave Smith reply so now I am not the oldest at soon to be 63 (in Aug.). I am glad to see it come up again. And hope most will take time to add their "vitals" here. One thing that will happen this time that didn't the last, will be the rate at which this poss drops down the page. There really is a difference at how fast they drop on to the later pages now as opposed to then. I grew up in Iowa where my Mother's Parent's had a 250 ac. farm in Appanoose county, 10 mi. from the MO. boarder. That is where at about the age of 10 I got to drive a motorized "anything" for the first time. I now have that 8N, the serial number of which I use as part of my handle here, Larry 8N75831. I am now in a Wash. DC suburb called Annandale in VA. I have 200+ acres just south of Front Royal, which is some 60-70 mi. west of DC. I worked for the Navy as an EE for 36 years and am very close to retiring, if going out and fixing on an OLD farm could be called retiring! :-) I have a daughter, 29, and a son, 33, who has a son that just turned two. Was out for his birthday, in Iowa, and went riding with him at his other Grandfathers farm in a big JD while planting corn. Grandson is already a "tractor freak" :-) Now if I can just over come the "green" influence. :-) Larry 8N75381
