Hi Zane, I have a couple of questions regarding the axle seals. when i purchased my 8n three years ago , the person I purchased it from had just junked another 8 or 9 n. He gave me as part of the deal all of his junk that was anything to do with tractors. In several discussions the older 8n only had one oil seal and the later models had an inner and outer seal for each axle. The axle's presently on the tractor only have one seal. There was not any extra axle's with the tractor. There was two extra trumpets with 8n stamped on them. Would the trumpets(housing for the axle)determine if you required the inner and outer seals or is this on the axle. Have I totally confused everyone. Along with this the extra transmission is three speeds which I would assume would be a 9n and the brake pedals are one on each side which is another identicifation of a 9n. I cannot find and serial numbers to identify anything. The extra front end has 8n stamped on it for identification. Cheers Murray

The reason you don't find any decals in your replacement set wit
