I too enjoy my fords, an 8n and a 2n and I am looking forward to recreational farming my 38 acre fields this summer. The help I have received from this board is nothing compared to the confidence that the folks have given me that I can do repairs on my tractors. I have overhauled the distributors and a governor thanks to the help from the board. I am by no means an expert. Now If I can offer some advise. I have taught kids science for over 30 years and I still love my time with our kids of today. I am so impressed with the work our shop teacher does with the kids who have had no father figure. He has brought in old tractors and repaired them including total overhauls with kids who have never had a wrench in their hand or a Dad to teach them things. Local communities really need people like you to just check into the school to see if there is something you can offer these kids. Kids of today are no worse or better than kids from 30 years ago. All kids are basically good kids. They just need some TLC and consistent discipline in their lives. For anyone on this board - a tractor restoration project in the local shop class would be an unbelievable experience and if you were involved with it, you have my personal assurance that your life would be all the better for it. Have a good day everyone.

Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o
