Old Hay Rake and Tedder

My husband and I recently acquired from a family member an original patent, drawings and original model for a Hay Rake and Tedder that was patented by my husband's great-great-great grandfather Dickenson A.Calkins of Monson, MA in 1876 and then improved by Mr. Calkins in 1878. All documents are stamped with the official United States Government seal. Would anyone know if this Hay Rake and Tedder was ever produced or how I could find out? We have been unsuccessful in finding any further history on this tedder. The model is in almost perfect condition and so are the documents.
