I think your tractor does have a hydraulic filter it should be underneath at the back two small bolts to remove the cover or you might find it behind the hyd dipstick plate small strainer screen just rinse with a cleanining solvent,did you use trans/hyd fluid or tranny you should use tran/hyd let me know if this helps
