ERTL John Deere Tractorcycle model 520

My father-in-law has had one of these pedal tractors, brand new, still in-the-box, in his garage for a long time, probably more than 20 years, could be longer. There were once two of them, but one of them is long gone.

The box has never been opened, so it should be in brand new condition. Can anyone give me any idea of the ballpark value? I see used ones on EBay for $250, so I wonder if new ones could be much more valuable?
