Can anyone tell me where to find out about when the L Case tractor on steel, when sold, did Case give out a small brass emblem with a leather strap? I guess this was for a pocket watch is what grandma said when she give it to me in 1981? Also did the possiablly give out a pocket watch? I have these Items and pocket watch, Elgin, dates to 1931. I also have all the original owners manuals for the L, LA, and the J.I. Case Threasher. And BW photos of all this together when my Grandfather purchaced this, and it operating in the field. See he run a Threasing Company in the 20's - 40's. Saved Everything, and the threasher is still on the farm. But my Grandpa is gone, and my Dad and brother passed early. So I am left with all this and trying to put it all together. Now you know my intrest. Can anyone tell me where to find out this information, web sites, people, or place to go. I have more items, manuals, tools, parts, ect, but those are the most intresting ones to me that seem to somehow go together. e-mail me ; [email protected] Thankyou to anyone that can help me to learn about this history, that way I learn more about my Grandpa too.
