I have a #25 John Deere combine with a 4 cylinder power unit rather than PTO. I want to get some work done on the engine as the engine runs but the previous owner did a 1/4 inch overhaul. John Deere says this 4 cylinder engine is called an HA-92 power unit. This engine is an overhead valve no water pump and therefore cooling similar to the D John Deere, by convection. I think the engine is a 4 cylinder Hercules but do not know which particular Hercules model.I have got the manual from John Deere on the HA-92 power unit but it does not say anywhere what the engine is. John Deere did not build a 4 cylinder overhead valve engine to my understanding till 1960. Does anyone know what this engine model is? Thanks> Paul Hamel
