Roy, I'm sure you are quite right about the profit that Franklin Mint must be making. It is a sad commentary that the most detailed and finest models made must be made offshore. I first noticed this trend in about 1991 when I bought a Farmall Model A tractor. The fit and finish were outstanding, much better than I was used to seeing from the Ertl factory.
