The problem with the impact wrench method of removal is that you can't properly torque the bolt when reinstalling. What I've done is remove the sheet metal cover on the top of the engine and wedge a bar across the fins on the flywheel. Be sure the bar bears on the base of the fins, not the tips. You need to be careful that you go fully across the flywheel and pick up fins on both sides to prevent breaking one off. I usually use a very large screwdriver. This way you can both loosen and tighten the PTO bolt. Joe Padavano
