What kind of rake do you have. I believe the rake will be better at picking the wet hay up off the ground. Roll the windrows a couple of times today if possible to keep it from bedding down on the ground. The NH does not run in reverse but rather you let the right hand side down to normal rak height and keep the left side up about half way and it will scatter a windrow as it discharges. Wheel Rakes can be turned over and around and they work as a tedder as well. I am trying link to the Sitrex website. Under their RP 6 and RP12 hayrake product information there is a picture at the bottom of the page showing how to use those styles of rakes for spreading. If it doesn't show up then www.sitrex.com and go to hayrakes and then RP^ and RP12
