Go to the front of the tractor. Get down and look at the axle. Look at the Cross Member, there should be a Collar weld to the cross member. The axle pivot pin is held in place with a small diameter retainer pin (3/16" x 1-1/4") that goes into the collar and pivot pin. That has to be driven out before the pivot pin can slide out. The retainer pin can be rusted in there and can be a PITA to get out. Remedies include: soaking with a penetrating oil, heat, and/or drilling out.
