I have a Cub Cadet 125 Hydro with a Kohler 12 horse engine. It'll start and run good for a few seconds to a few minutes, then stall out, sometimes with a backfire. Then it'll start right up again. If I play with the choke, sometimes I can keep it running for an additional minute or so, but it eventually will stall. I put on another, rebuilt carburator, but it didn't help. Has a new plug. Replaced points & condensor, even put on another known good coil and plug wire from another engine. Still stalls out. Problem doesn't get any better or worse, no matter what I seem to try. Anybody ever run into this? Got any suggestions what I should try next?
