jdk, I'd hunt up a Cub Lo-Boy. You can get belly rotary finish decks, rotary belly brush deck, or flail mower depending on the type of mowing you are doing. You mentioned "lawn", so I'd probably choose the belly finish mower-Woods still sells 'em new!-works great especially if you keep up with your mowing. Anyway, the Lo-Boy is just that-lower than a regular Cub and the exhaust goes down and out the rear..ahhhh the serenity of it all...!!! Gets in and around darn near anything. And you don't have to trim the trees into an unnatural shape. I cut out proper radius and mulched around all my yard obstacles and don't even need a weedeater now. I mow 5 acres in rural central Ohio. Now for the best part...you can buy the Cub;have it rebuilt/painted;buy a new finish mower deck and most likely STILL have less money in it than a new zero-turn.I gurantee it will be less than the JD all-wheel steer. Not to mention the pride you'll have driving around a true piece of genuine Americana ! I wonder if a zero turn will last 50 years and then be worth rebuilding for another 50??? GO RED POWER is my advise. Regards-MS

Elliott said while this
