I mow 5 and 1/2 acres of lawn and live in north central Pennsylvania and I use a 1994 Kubota B1550 4WD HST,PS with a 54" belly mower. I have about 1500 HRS. on it so far. The only things I have replaced has been new deck caster wheels on allfour corners. Other than grease, oil, filters, blades and normal maintance, I have done nothing else. We used this type of tractor in the family lawn care bussines for about 20 years using all Kubota tractors as in B7200's,B2400's,and a couple of L series. We had 7 Kubota's on the jobs, mowing from 1 to 30 acre lawns for business, camps, cemetarys and homes. This business was run by myself and my two brothers with no other hired help we had 50 jobs, plus we all worked 40 hr per week jobs.Zero turn mowers are ok but I have tryed a couple in the business and was not impressed. I have tryed a lot of different types of mowers, tractors etc.etc. but we always came back to the Kubota. Besides the B1550,I also have a B7200 that was in the business that I have a loader and backhoe on. Any one else out there have as good luck as I have had with Kubota, lets hear it.

"Barry Seiler, owner of Country Town Farm Supply store used to invite people up to the Johne Deere store. He would give hats and a free meal for everyone that brings a tractor." Elliott said while this
