We bought this 6000 diesel on a farm sale. The owner's son said that when they parked this tractor, the injection pump would not idle down. We got it home and found that the fuel transfer pump had been disabled. The pump arm had been cut off. Put on a new transfer pump and now we can get the engine to hit a couple of times when we first start cranking, but that's it. It has a Simms injection pump. We opened the bleeders on the pump and fuel sqirts out of them. I think there is still air in the system but don't know how to bleed it. I'm new to this forum and would appreciate any advise. thanks.......
