Had a problem with my TO-30 last spring. Couldnt get it to run smooth. Had a friend come out to help and got out the I&T manual and timed the engine by the book. Has run fine ever since. If you dont have a manual get one. And mabe adjust valves while you have the valve cover off. Good luck;
