My W30 which is the standard tread version of a F30 has 3 drains also. My W30 has a place in the valve cover to add so oil for extra lubrication of the rocker arms. This means eventually you can get too much oil in the oil pan. One of the drains is to remove the excess oil and the other two are the normal ones to check oil level.
