Hi Mike, Without a pressure gauge your going to do alot of guessing. There is a filter on the left side of the transmission case and will have hydraulic hose coming out of it if you have hydra-touch valves. The pump sets right behind this plate, then the filter behind the pump. Sometimes the key in the pump shaft gets worn and the gear may be spinning on the shaft. The pumps rarely fail. Grab the hydraulic line and see if you can feel pressure running through the hose. If you haven't changed the filter or hydraulic oil for awhile I would look at this first. When you pull the bottom drain plug, see how much water comes out first. Any noise in the system?
