rotor button

Well guys you have answered all questions up to now and appreciate your time. In stripping it down to weld the broke fan mount fork decided to tune it up to. Not knowing the rotor was gear driven i pulled it off and didnt pay close attention to the way it was setting. I have it running but not right How do I get it set right. I asume run no.1 up to top and set put rotor on accordingly but want a second or 3 or4 opinion. Many thanks to all who have helped me so far. Oh its a 48 cub. George
