Upon further review, I believe Harold H is correct - the 460 had the H rear end, not the M rear end. But also believe the problems IH had with rear ends were in the 460 as well as the 560 (I'll have to check on that). An M rear end with a 460 engine may have enough capacity to avoid the problems. The bigger 560 engine with an M rear end would be of more concern.
