Kurt, I have one on my Farmall MD that is operated by a lever. When I rebuilt the transmission, the bearing was bad on the upper shaft end. I had a hard time finding the bearing as Case/IH doesn't have anything on that. I ended up measuring it and getting from a bearing company. The amazing part was that the bearing was a metric bearing. I am also amazed at how much work it must have been to install that high/low range modification in the transmission. To install it they had to basically disassemble the whole transmission and drill a big hole in the side of the transmission. Must have taken a quite a few hours to do that. Also, since the hydraulic pump runs at a higher speed, my tractor had a clutch to dissengage the belly pump. I don't know if that also was an M&W aftermarket modification or who made it. Roger
