When I was at FARMALL in the late 70's & early 80's YOUR area was the One IHC wanted to sell the MOST tractors in! ALL those Deere people driving around the countryside in a sea of red tractors! I grew up close to you, 20 miles east of Moline. Stuck between 2 good jd dealers. Had 2 good IHC dealers until about late 60's. Even had 3 for a year or so. The new store, the one that's left never was able to attract the old customers like the other two. Still a LOT of old red tractors around that area, just too many new green ones. Dad's been lucky to rent his ground to people with newer Magnums. Good tractor.
