Parts price difference, Gaskets

I just got two quotes for a "Valve grinding gasket set". The gasket set from API (All Parts International) was 16 dollars less than the dealer price. The dealer always gives me good service but I don't think I can justify paying 16 dollars more on a 22 dollar item (ouch)! Does anyone have any experience with API?
