Are you getting a different switch. You need a grounding switch. That would be a single wire switch that grounds the mag when switch is in (off). Of course you can use your battery ign switch if you like. Just unhook the wire coming from the amp meter. Then run a wire from that switch terminal to ground. The switch will work backwards so you will have to push switch in to run and pull out to ground out mag to shut off. Kind of unhandy especially if someone other than you run the tractor.
