Thanks Guys, I will try it again next weekend. This is a Hiesler overdrive and I did have it in just not in the right position. I put it in without the coupler on and then there was not enough room between drive shaft from bell housing and shaft from overdrive unit to get the coupler on then. That's why I was wondering if I needed to slide engine forward and back when done. Thanks for The help. Bob
